SS-Media does exactly what it says on the tin! In 2010, we published our first book with SS Media as the printer. Now, almost four years later, SS Media has printed eight books for us, some hardback, some paperback. Whatever the format, the quality of the finished books is always excellent. They say you should never judge a book by its cover but that’s the first thing the reader sees and feels. We’re always confident SS Media will put as much care and attention into printing as we do into the content of our books. As our company has grown, SS Media has catered to our changing needs. In 2013, one of our books was shortlisted for the Irish Sports Book Award and we hope Sam at SS Media was as proud of that achievement as we are because without him, we wouldn’t have had a book.

How to produce and launch a professionally presented paperback at an affordable cost was my main worry when setting up Romulus Publishing. I conducted extensive pre-publication research and was horrified at some of the amateur suggestions and extortionate print-run quotes offered by apparently experienced outfits. I will say little more than fortunately I came across the team at SS Media who handled my typesetting, design layout, and printing with excellent ongoing communication and superb suggestions to produce a piece of work that has overly impressed everyone with its presentation. This title has just been delivered and I wanted to say how pleased I am with its print and finish quality. As you know, this is my first experiment with on-demand low volume print – but it certainly won’t be the last!
